System Overload Continues
While the amount of information we are expected to process has been reduced this week, I still feel on the verge of a system overload. It probably has less to do with the information provided and more with my anxiety about actually teaching. This week we found out which school we will be placed in for our internship. I am glad to know that this will also be the same site for Block I.
By this time next week I will have meet my students. That still sounds strange to my ears, but by the end of Block I when I will have been teaching for almost 100% of the day, they should feel like MY STUDENTS.

- After working the tech industry for 3 years since I graduated from the University of Waterloo, I decided that wanted to do more than sit in a dark room maintaining servers. The best part of my previous job consisted of teaching my co-workers how to use web applications. This inspired me to volunteer at a middle school as a tech instructor. Since I found this experience very rewarding I have decided to make it my life. In the future I hope to be a math and computer teacher for at-risk youth.
